You can also use wooden jumbo craft sticks (popsicle sticks) approximately 1" x 6" in size, available at most discount department stores. Please be aware that these cannot be washed and are prone to cracking over time, but are fortunately easy to replace.

Braces created with this kit are not a medical device, and do not completely immobilize the wrist. They will prevent over-extension of sore tendons to allow for rest and healing while still allowing a small amount of natural movement.
